How we survey and quote, what you can hold us to, and the work we turn down — which is most of what makes the package idea credible.
One survey, one quote, one crew.
We are a small licensed HVAC contractor in Fullerton, working on single-family houses across north Orange County with a light commercial side along Harbor.
The unusual part is that we do the attic work ourselves — air sealing and insulation — rather than subcontracting it or leaving it to a company you find separately. That is not a bundle for the sake of a bundle. It is because the order of operations decides the size of the equipment, and you cannot control the order across three companies with three schedules.
So a survey covers all of it in one visit, by the people who would do the work. The quote separates sealing, insulation, duct and equipment onto their own lines with the load calculation shown both before and after, and you can buy any part of it or none of it.
You are welcome to take the quote to somebody else. A price that only makes sense while we are standing in your kitchen is not a price.

We seal before we insulate
Every time, and the quote lists what is being sealed by name — duct boots, top plates, penetrations, the hatch. Insulation never goes over an unsealed ceiling on our jobs.
A depth in writing, and rulers left behind
You can put your head into the attic afterwards and check what you bought. Almost nobody offers this and it costs us nothing.
Equipment is sized last
The load calculation is run against the building you will have after the attic work, and you see both numbers. Sometimes that means we sell you a smaller machine than we could have.
We find the leak
A system low on refrigerant is a system that is leaking. We locate it or we tell you the coil is finished. No annual top-up sold as a service.
What we do not do.
The package only means something if its edges are clear.
- No 24-hour emergency cover. A small shop cannot staff it honestly. The phone is answered from half past seven, and during a heat run we sort the day by who has no cooling at all in an occupied house.
- Attic insulation only. Not walls, not floors, not crawlspaces, not spray foam and not foam roof decks. We do the part that interacts with the HVAC system; for anything else you want a specialist.
- No savings percentages or payback periods. Ever. We give you the load calculation, which is a fact about the building, instead of a forecast about your bill.
- No duct cleaning as a product, and no air-purifier upselling. Most houses here need airflow and sealing fixed, not a gadget added.
- No roofing, no solar, no windows, no electrical panel upgrades. We flag what a job needs and name the trade that holds the licence.
- No insisting on the package. If you only want the air conditioner replaced, we will quote that and say what it will and will not fix. The package is an argument, not a condition of doing business.

- Refrigerant
- EPA Section 608 certifiedRequired to handle refrigerant legally. Recovery is done properly on every changeout, including on equipment going to scrap.
- Permits
- Pulled, and the inspector metChangeouts and insulation work are permitted work in this county. An unpermitted install becomes a problem years later, usually during a sale.
- Warranty
